In spite of all that is going on around the world, God is still in control!

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.

He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!

For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.

The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples.

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!”

‭Psalm‬ ‭33:6-12‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Let It Go!

If you are able to read this post, it’s a blessing. God spared you yet another day. But since He did spare you, there is no doubt that the purpose He put in you is yet to be accomplished. You are still here learning and developing the necessary information and abilities to fulfill your God-given purpose. However, if you haven’t checked the anger that’s brewing in your heart, you will not be able to fulfill God's purpose for your life. Your anger, if not released to God will grow and poison you and all those around you. Anger that is from above has a divine purpose that produces hope and unity, a Godly outcome. Anger that is wrought from selfish, fleshly pride is demonic and breeds hatred and division, a Satanic outcome.

If you say you are a follower of Jesus, follow His instructions - let Love Rule you, not anger. God IS Love and He calls all that follow Him to love, even your enemies.

We are living at an hour of great frustration and uncertainty. If we allow fear to set in it will contaminate our ability to reason and see things God's way. We will begin to look to blame and punish, without the reasoning necessary to determine the truth. Mounting frustration and helplessness begin to cause us to want to take matters into our own hands instead of calling upon the only One able to help us.

Perfect Love casts out fear and the resulting torment that it breeds. No, fear is not the portion of the righteous. They have received divine power, perfected love from God, and the soundness of mind it breeds to enable them to resolve and overcome life’s challenges.

Love is the first commandment. God knew what He was doing when He made it such. Hate is the evil nemesis to love and life. As we who follow Christ come across those that promote and engender hate, don’t respond with hatred, pray earnestly for them and let the love of God be rich in you. There is no law greater than the law of a Love! There is no greater destroyer of life and hope than hatred spawned by unrelinquished anger.

May the Love of God prevail in the heart of our nation so that His Righteousness will overcome the divisive sin of hatred. A house or nation divided will not stand! If God has not already sent judgment to punish our hatred, we can turn back to God by obeying His commandment to love Him and one another.

Where are you Deborah! This is not the time to mince among the perfume and glitter!  War is upon us! Our children are being hauled away and sold into slavery while we lavish ourselves with toiletries and sundry sorts of pleasures that will certainly fade and provide no shelter. Our young men stripped of their garments and dignity while the mirror holds our gaze.

Where are you Jael!? Sisera thinks he has escaped!  After molesting your family and robbing your coffers he runs for shelter and now finds himself at your feet.  Rise Jael, let the tent peg strike home.  Let that mallet fell it’s fateful blow and smite his head to the ground! No longer shall he plunder your houses for you have pierced his temple! Judges 4:9-22.

Where are you Daughter’s of Zion! So enthrawled with thine own beauty and costly array!  Your children cry out to you as they are being pulled from your side yet you hear nothing save the call of the shops and wandering eyes of men who don’t even know your name.

Wake up and snap out of your stupor!  It is time to dress for battle.  Rend your heart and not your clothing!  Cry out to The Lord God Almighty! The enemy is upon us!  They have come again, as always, to steal, plunder, enslave and destroy!

Rise up Deborah and bid Barak, “Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go!”  Come Deborah, thou prophetess who sees and cry unto Barak, “Up! For this is the day in which the Lord hath delivered your enemy into thine hand, is not the Lord gone out before thee?” Judges 4:14

Wake up Deborah! Arise Jael! We are at war!

Encouragement For Your Journey

Coming up as a young believer, I had to learn that this Christian journey was not going to be a cake walk! I had been given the impression by those who were teaching me that the moment I gave my life to Christ, everything was going to be alright. I would later learn that at the moment I said "yes" to Jesus, a huge target showed up on my back. It announced to every demon and devil around that I was fresh meat. No one ever prepared me for the diabolical things that were about to take place in my life simply because I had given my life to Jesus.
However, in spite of what man did not teach me, my Father did through His Word.  He prepared my heart by first acquainting me with the fact that I had an enemy who would use fear as a means to infiltrate my new life in Christ and attempt to ravage my fragile faith. There were several fierce encounters I had that confirmed what The Father had warned me of. The Lord taught me at a very young point in my Christian walk that if I could believe Him for my salvation, I could believe Him for my protection from the wiles of my enemy.  The Lord proved Himself mighty at every hand. I finally got it - there is no one and nothing that is greater than my God! I knew I had finally embraced this reality when one day while witnessing in the neighborhood I came face to face with a young lady who was being tormented by demons. Her mother was oblivious to this fact, no doubt because the doctors had labeled her with some mental disability. However, when we entered the woman's home and she asked her daughter to come down, she refused. So, we went up to meet her. As we entered the room the young girl backed away from us and cried out, "Have you come to kill me?" I knew immediately that she was under the influence of the enemy and immediately responded that they must come out of her! I don't say that my knees didn't start knocking a little because they did. But I had seen the power of God deliver others. He did not disappoint in this case either. He had taught me that when the enemy would come in like a flood, The Lord would raise a standard against him. That standard was in me, His name, Jesus!
I learned that there is "no weapon formed against me that will prosper". Not even Satan's lying tactics can withhold what God has promised. So, as we encounter the enemy's attacks along our journey, we must always keep the faith and remember what God said: "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up: the flames will not consume you. for I am The Lord, your God...! Isaiah 43:1b-3a NLT

Life's Uncertain Journey - A Lesson Learned

March 2018 -
Here is an excerpt from my book, Life's Uncertain Journey: "We are often oblivious that there are evil forces working against us, simply because of Whose we are."
One lesson I learned well on my journey of faith is that my Heavenly Father has rigged the game of life in my favor! For so long I blamed Him for the tragedies and turmoil in my life while all along it was my enemy. Satan was weaving a dangerous web of destruction for my life that would have negatively impacted my children's future, and their children's, and so on. However, The Lord proved Himself Mightier than my enemy and has handed me victory time and time again, through Jesus Christ my Savior.

God is very real and very powerful! That fact was obscured from me by Satan who the bible calls the god of this world. He was the one that blinded my mind and filled it with lies. Because I did not believe God, I was unable to see the glorious light of the Good News and the wonderful things He had in store for me. I didn't understand this message about the glory of Christ, Who is the exact likeness of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
God has provided me with evidence of His Greatness and Power! Reserve your copy and read how God provided for me and my family on Life's Uncertain Journey. Visit my website and reserve your copy today. The first 20 pre-orders will get a FREE COPY once the book is released!

Prepare Him Room

As I read my devotion this morning entitled “Prepare Him Room”, I was reminded of what this season sometimes stirs up in us. Dedicated thoughts of self, what we want, what we need, our expectations and desires swirl around self.  May we be deliberate about fighting that feeling. May we not give it place in our hearts or minds. Let us “Prepare Him Room” in our hearts, thoughts, intentions and day to day dealings of life. May the Lord help us to give Him greater focus and attention than we give to ourselves. I believe it is then, that we will find peace of mind and joy of heart as we spend precious moments in His Presence.

So be it, Lord Jesus!
Peace & Blessings

Jesus asked His disciples, who do men say that I Am? After sharing the different expressions they had heard from others, Jesus then asked them specifically, Who do you say that I Am? It was Peter’s confident reply that moved the Master Who encouraged him with these words, flesh and blood did not reveal that to you Peter, but my Father which is in heaven! What a powerful revelation it is to have God the Father reveal to you Who Jesus Is! Have you truly discovered Who He is?

I ask you today, precious daughters of God – who do you say Jesus is? Believe me, in the coming days it is going to be that revelation from The Father, of who Jesus is, that will determine whether or not you succumb to “The Lie – The Strong Delusion” that is coming upon all mankind. 2 Thess. 2:8-12. It is coming, so powerful is the lie that scripture suggests could possibly fool the very elect of God.
It is the God given revelation of Who Jesus is that will embolden our hearts to say, “I know The One in Whom I trust, and I am sure that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until the day of His return!” 2 Timothy 1:12 Have you entrusted your life to Him? Have you commended your children to Him?
In the face of all the chaos, the wars, the rumors of wars, the persecution, the betrayal and the senseless evil we see around us – you will be able to stand firm, faithful and confident because you will know exactly Who Jesus is and what He is going to do in you.

Beloved, He is The Great I Am! The Alpha and Omega! The Beginning and The End!
  • He is The Rose of Sharon! The Bright and Morning Star!
  • He is The Lord God Almighty, who became flesh and blood! He is The Living Word Who walked amongst us! We beheld Him as the only begotten of The Father, full of Grace and Truth!
  • He is fully God and fully man! The second Adam Who redeemed us from the curse of the law so that we may receive the blessings of Abraham!
  • He is our Great High Priest, our Advocate, our Elder Brother and our Friend!
  • He is our Lord, and our soon coming King! Our adversary blinds the eyes of many so that the truth of Who Jesus is becomes obscured and hidden(2 Cor. 4:3).
But God has chosen those to whom He will reveal His Son(Luke 10:21-22). He reveals Him to every heart that searches for Him! (Jer. 29:13). Search for Him beloved – as one who has lost a pearl of great price. Search heartily for Him and He will be found of you – when your search is generated from your heart and not your head. (Jer. 29:14)
